Ole Miss Track & Field Facility
Xcavators was Awarded this fast tracked project in the Fall of 2015. At the time on contract the facility was condemned due to the whole area of the track sinking therefore making it ineligible for NCAA track meets This was a fast paced project that required excavation of 5’ over the whole area of the existing track. Also, a 60” concrete pipe had to be extracted 20’ below the track surface. Approx. 65,000 Cubic Yard of unsuitable dirt was excavated and 70,000 Cubic yards of suitable material was brought in the prevent any more settling. This 6.5M project was completed in June 2016.
